About the Doom font

A squared, game-inspired display face with compact strokes and an unmistakable retro attitude. Its native FIGlet character cell is 8 rows high, making the finished banner easy to size before it reaches a terminal or source file.

Best used for: Game tools, security utilities, demos, and high-energy CLI launch screens.

How to use this banner

Type a short word or project name in the generator above. Start with an 80-column target if the result is going into a traditional terminal, then switch to a wider target for README files or large source comments.

Use Raw text for a terminal or text file, Markdown block for GitHub, and one of the comment exports when the banner will live directly in source code.

Keep the alignment intact

ASCII art depends on every character occupying the same width. Keep the output inside a code block or another monospace environment, and avoid editors that automatically trim leading spaces.
